TEC Certification for Repeater for Cellular Network is mandatory for all GSM, WCDMA and LTE repeaters before they can be used in India. The TEC is a department under the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Government of India. TEC certification ensures that the repeater meets the Indian standards for EMC and RF radiation emissions. TEC also evaluates the energy efficiency of the repeater.
