EPR Authorization for Washing Machine is the responsibility of the manufacturer or importer to ensure that the E-waste generated by electrical or electronic products at the end of its life is managed in an environmentally sound manner. EPR authorization entitles the holder to dispose of E-waste in an environmentally sound manner and ensures that the E-waste is disposed of in a way that does not cause any environmental pollution. EPR authorization also requires the manufacturer or importer to provide information on the E-waste disposal options available to the consumers. EPR authorization holder is required to submit an annual report on the E-waste management activities carried out during the year. The EPR authorization holder is also required to display the EPR logo on their website and product packaging. The EPR logo ensures that the consumers are aware of the fact that the product has been authorized by EPR and that it can be disposed of in an environmentally sound manner.
